Why 'Good Enough' Beats 'Perfect'

For years I would not publish anything until it was perfect. The result: I published almost nothing.
The trap
Perfectionism is not a love of quality. It is fear dressed up as standards — usually fear of being judged. Meanwhile, "not ready" quietly becomes "never done".
What shipping taught me
I started publishing deliberately imperfect work — a blog draft, a portfolio page, a video with a small mistake left in. Nobody pointed a finger. People engaged, corrected, suggested. I learned more from their feedback in two weeks than from a year of polishing in private.
The rule I use now
Perfect is the enemy of published.
Ask instead: "Is this good enough to help one person?" If yes — put it out there.
A simple audit
If a task is not improving your day's outcome by at least 10%, it is polishing.
The freeing truth
Your first version will not be your best — and that is fine. Every strong piece of work I have seen was version three of version one. You only reach version three by shipping version one.
Ship it. Improve it. Repeat.
